Alchemy Factory – Complete Crafting Guide for Wood and Limestone

Published January 2, 2026

Mastering production lines in Alchemy Factory is the key to expanding your workshop. Whether you are building mechanical parts or advanced construction materials, understanding how to transition from raw resources to finished products is essential.

This guide breaks down the complex flowcharts for Wood and Limestone into easy-to-follow steps.

1. Wood Processing: From Logs to Mechanical Parts

Wood (Bois) is your first major resource. You won’t just use it for fuel; it is the backbone of your early-game machinery.

  • Plank Production: Place Wood (Bois) into the Scie à format (Table Saw) to create Planks (Planches).
  • Mechanical Components:
    • Wooden Pulley (Poulie en bois): Combine Planks and Rope (Corde) in the Assembleur (Assembler).
    • Large Gear (Grand rouage): Process Planks through the Meuleuse (Grinder).
    • Small Gear (Petit rouage): Take your Large Gear and run it through the Processeur (Processor) to downsize it.
  • Charcoal & Powder:
    • Burning Planks in a Fourneau (Furnace) equipped with a Creuset (Crucible) yields Charcoal (Charbon de bois).
    • Grind the Charcoal in a Meuleuse to get Charcoal Powder (Poudre de charbon), which is used for advanced recipes.

2. Limestone & Stone: Industrial Foundations

Limestone (Calcaire) is where the “chemistry” of the game begins. This line is vital for creating bricks and chemical reagents like limewater.

The Basic Stone Chain

  • Stone (Pierre): Feed Limestone (Calcaire) into a Meuleuse.
  • Mortar (Mortier): Process Stone in the Processeur.
  • Sand (Sable): Grind Stone one more time in the Meuleuse.

Advanced Materials & Bricks

  • Quicklime & Limewater: Smelt Stone in the Fourneau/Creuset to get Quicklime (Chaux vive). Grind it into powder and use the Extracteur (Extractor) to produce Limewater (Eau de chaux).
  • Solid Clay & Bricks:
    • Combine Sand and Charcoal Powder in the Assembleur to create Solid Clay (Argile solide).
    • Clay Powder: Grind the Solid Clay in a Meuleuse.
    • Brick (Brique): Fire the Solid Clay in the Four à céramique (Ceramic Kiln).
