Fisch – How to Get the Secret Wind Elemental Rod
This is your ultimate guide to getting the secret developer rod, the Wind Elemental Rod, in the Roblox game Fisch. We’re breaking down how to find the Wind Master and complete all three of his brutal, RNG-heavy quests.
Aight, so you’ve heard the whispers about a secret, busted “developer rod” that was added with the Lost Jungle update. It’s real, it’s called the Wind Elemental Rod, and getting it is, no cap, one of the hardest grinds in the entire game. This isn’t a rod you can buy or craft; you have to earn it by completing a legendary questline from a hidden NPC.
But don’t trip. This guide has all the information you need. We’re gonna show you exactly where to find the quest giver and break down the best strategy for completing each of his three insane quests.
Step 1: Find the Wind Master
Before you can even start the grind, you need to find the quest giver, the Wind Master. This dude is hiding out in one of the most remote locations in the game.
- The Location: The Wind Master is chilling at the absolute peak of the mountain in the Northern Expedition.
- The Gear You’ll Need: This is a serious climb. Before you even try it, make sure you have the Winter Cloak and the Advanced Oxygen Tank. You do not want to freeze or suffocate on your way up.
- The Climb: This isn’t a casual walk; it’s a full-on parkour challenge. Be prepared for some tricky jumps and a lot of pain if you fall.
- Pro-Tip: Set Your Spawn!: The second you finally make it to the top, set your spawn point. Trust me, you do not want to do that climb more than once. At the very peak, you’ll find the Wind Master waiting for you.
The Gauntlet: The Wind Master’s Three Quests
The Wind Master will give you a series of three quests, each one requiring you to catch a fish with an insane combination of rare traits. This is a true test of a master angler’s patience and luck.
Quest 1: The Shiny Giant Bait Crate

This is a complex, multi-part quest that requires both luck and preparation.
- The Goal: You need to bring the Wind Master a Shiny Giant Bait Crate.
- The Catch: You cannot appraise a normal Bait Crate to get the “Shiny” mutation. You have to catch one that is naturally shiny.
- The Strat:
- The Shiny Hunt: Your first goal is just to catch a Shiny Bait Crate. Your best bet is to use a loadout that maximizes your shiny chance. The recommended gear is the Destiny Rod (for its 10% innate shiny chance), a Blessed enchant for an even bigger shiny boost, and any Shiny Totems you have.
- The Trip to Treasure Island: Once you finally get a Shiny Bait Crate, your journey isn’t over. You need to take it to Treasure Island. To get there, you’ll need a Treasure Whistle, which is a rare item sold by the Traveling Merchant. Keep an eye out for him and buy it as soon as you see it.
- The Giant Appraisal: At Treasure Island, you need to use the Treasure Appraiser to give your Shiny Bait Crate the Giant mutation. But that’s not all—the crate has to be at least 12.7 kg for it to count. This part is all down to RNG.
Quest 2: The Triple-Mutated Puffer Fish
This is where the grind gets real, and it’s all down to pure, unfiltered RNG.
- The Goal: You need to catch a single Puffer Fish that has three specific mutations, all at the same time: Shiny, Sparkling, AND King’s Blessing.
- The Strat:
- The Location: Head to Roslet Bay, as this is one of the best spots to find Puffer Fish.
- The Rod: The recommended rod for this is the Poseidon Rod. It likely has a higher base chance to attract Puffer Fish or roll for rare mutations.
- There’s no cheese strat for this. You just have to fish in Roslet Bay with your best luck gear and pray that the RNG gods bless you.
Quest 3: The Blessed Whale Shark
The final quest is to hunt down one of the biggest and rarest creatures in the game.
- The Goal: You need to get a Shiny, Blessed Whale Shark.
- The Strat:
- The Event: You can’t just find a Whale Shark anywhere. You have to wait for a Whale Shark Hunt world event to begin. Keep an eye on the server announcements.
- The Loadout: The recommended setup is the Serafic Rod (likely the best for hunting giant fish) with a Blessed enchant. This gives you the best chance of getting that second required mutation when you finally hook a shiny.
The Reward: The Wind Elemental Rod
After you’ve completed all three of these brutal quests, you can return to the Wind Master to claim your prize: the Wind Elemental Rod. The stats on this thing are said to be absolutely insane, and as a secret developer rod, it’s one of the most exclusive and powerful items in the game. Given its name, it likely has some busted passives related to speed or control, letting you reel in fish faster than anything else.
It’s a brutal, RNG-heavy grind, but owning the Wind Elemental Rod is the ultimate flex for any true master angler in Fisch. Good luck out there.
