Hades II – The Definitive 100% Achievement Guide
This is your ultimate, no-BS guide to getting 100% of the achievements in Hades II. We’re breaking down all 50 achievements with the easiest strats, from the main story to the grindiest prophecies.
Aight, so you’re ready to go for the ultimate flex in Hades II: the 100% completion. Bet. With 50 achievements to snag, this is a legit marathon, not a sprint. But don’t trip—we’ve got the full roadmap for you.
Here’s the lowdown: you’re looking at about 80-100 hours of gameplay. The good news is that there are no missable, bugged, or online achievements, and difficulty doesn’t matter, so you can play on whatever vibe you want. It’s a pretty chill 100%, but the grind is real. Let’s get this bread.
Story Achievements
These are the no-brainers. You’ll get most of these just by playing the game and beating the bosses in each area.
- Witch of the Woods: Beat the boss of Erebus.
- Witch of the Depths: Beat the boss of Oceanus.
- Witch of the Plains: Beat the boss of the Fields of Mourning.
- Witch of the Abyss: Beat the boss of Tartarus.
- Witch of the Outskirts: Beat the boss of the City of Ephyra.
- Witch of the Seas: Beat the boss of the Rift of Thessaly.
- Witch of the Clouds: Beat the boss of Mount Olympus.
- Witch of the Clouds: Beat the boss of the Summit.
- Death to Chronos: Finish the main story quest by finally dealing with Chronos.
- Golden Age: Reach the game’s epilogue.
- Pro-Tip for the Epilogue: This one’s a whole quest line. You need to complete incantations about the Fates. For the final steps, you’ll need to talk to a specific group of characters about them: Moros, Chaos, Chronos, Hecate, Prometheus, and Heracles. If the quest isn’t progressing, you need to raise your relationship with them by giving them Nectar and exhausting their other dialogues.
Prophecy Achievements
This is where the real grind begins. You’ll be spending a lot of time completing these tasks from the Fated List.
- Familiar Confidant: Just talk to your cute frog familiar, Frinos, 6 times at the Crossroads. Easy.
- Breadth of Knowledge: Unlock all the Arcana cards at the Altar of Ashes.
- The Arms of Night: Unlock all six of the standard Nocturnal Arms.
- Natural Talent: Beat Hecate (the first boss) with zero Arcana cards equipped.
- Voice and Vanity: The relationship quest for Echo and Narcissus. Just keep talking to them every chance you get.
- Arcana of the Ages: Beat the final Underworld boss at least once with every single Arcana card having been active (it’s cumulative, you don’t have to do it all in one run).
- Haunted by the Past: This is Dora’s relationship quest. Keep building your bond with her and talking to Prometheus to progress it.
- Denizens of the Depths: This is Poseidon’s quest. You need to catch 20 unique types of fish. Any fish you caught before getting the prophecy still count, which is a lifesaver.
- Unassailable Insight: Fully upgrade all Arcana cards to their max rank (Level 3). Yeah, it’s a grind.
- Hand of the Fates: Complete 60 minor prophecies. You’ll get this over time.
- Sword of the Night: Beat the final Surface boss with each of the six weapon types.
- The Unseen Sentinel: Unlock all the hidden Aspects for all weapons. This is a big one that requires a ton of steps for each weapon.
- Unrivaled Prowess: Beat the first three bosses and reach the final boss on both the Underworld and Surface routes with the Vow of Rivals Fear pact set to its max level.
- Soundest of Sleepers: Wake up Hypnos. This is a long quest involving Medea. The final item you need, Soot from Home, can only be obtained after you’ve beaten the main story, in a dialogue with Hades in Tartarus.
- Chaos in Hell: Complete the final Chaos Trial. To even unlock this trial, you need to have collected every single Keepsake in the game.
- Born to Win: A special challenge from Chaos. You have to visit Chaos while equipping their keepsake, the Transcendent Embryo, at Rank 3. Then, you have to complete an entire run from start to finish without ever taking it off.
- Improbable Outcomes: Complete any two of the four major Chaos trials (the regular and “Total” versions for both the Underworld and Surface).
- Bearing Dark Gifts: Beat the final Underworld boss with every single weapon Aspect in the game (standard and hidden).
- Unfinished Business: This is Odysseus’s personal quest. To trigger it, you might need to visit Polyphemus, Circe, and Scylla while his Knuckle Bones keepsake is equipped.
- Silk and Spitefulness: This is Arachne’s quest with Athena. To speed up the dialogue parts with Athena, you can equip her keepsake, start a Surface run, talk to her, and then immediately die to reset the run and try for more dialogue.
Special Achievements
These achievements require you to perform a specific, unique action.
- Soothing Soak: Invite a companion to the hot springs.
- Catch of the Night: Invite a companion to the fishing pier.
- Ambrosia for Two: Invite a companion to the taverna.
- Sheep’s Clothing: In the Hecate boss fight, let her turn you into a sheep, then kill one of the ghost enemies she summons. The easiest way is to attack one of the trees on the edge of the arena while a ghost is next to it for an easy terrain kill.
- Behold Night’s Champion: Get the first reward from Scorch by clearing runs with a certain amount of “Fear” active (this game’s version of Heat).
- Mercy, Night’s Executioner: Get the second reward from Scorch by clearing runs with even more Fear.
- Dressed to Kill: Reach a final boss while still wearing one of Arachne’s dresses. Pro-tip: Equip her keepsake and take Hephaestus boons to keep your armor high.
- Unfamiliar Forms: After you’ve fully maxed out all your familiars, Circe will give you an incantation that lets you change their appearance. Change each one at least once.
- Fair Fight: Win the kill race against Nemesis 10 times.
- Breaking Up the Band: Use Selene’s “Night Bloom” hex to resurrect one of the Sirens during the second phase of the Scylla boss fight.
- Elysian Glory: After beating the game, a special contract can appear in Charon’s shop. Buy it to enter Elysium and defeat the champion there.
Cumulative Achievements
These are the big, grindy achievements that you’ll work towards over your entire playtime.
- So Mote It Be: Cast 50 incantations at the cauldron.
- Mind for Magick: Reach 30 Grasp (the max) at the Altar of Ashes. Pro-tip: using Frinos as your familiar helps you get more Psyche.

- Giving Back: Earn 10,000 Kudos by recycling materials at the Wretched Broker.
- Beast Master: Fully upgrade all of your animal familiars’ abilities.
