Aight, so you’re trying to make sense of the massive Skill Tree in Idle Boss Rush but don’t want to get lost in the sauce. Bet. Planning your build is a huge pain when you have to memorize where every node is. This guide breaks down the main “color-coded” paths in the tree so you can see at a glance where you need to spend your Divine Gems for your specific build.

This is all about visualizing the tree so you can quickly find the skills you want, see how much they cost, and what other talents they lead to.

The Main Paths: What Each Color Means

Here’s the lowdown on what each colored path in the skill tree represents, based on the guide.

Ballistas Path

This path is all about one thing: making your Ballistas hit harder. If you’re running a build that relies on your Ballista for damage, this is the path you’ll be speccing into.

Fire Path

This one’s for all you pyros out there. The Fire path is all about boosting your Fire damage and helping you apply more Burn effects to the boss.

Ice Path

This is the path for all the Freeze builds. The talents here focus on increasing the damage from “Freeze Popping” and helping you apply more Freeze stacks.

Poison Path

If you’re running a poison build, this is your home. These talents boost your poison damage, help you apply poison more effectively, and even let you change the maximum number of poison stacks you can have on a boss.

Warriors Path

This path is for builds that rely on a massive army of warriors. All the talents here are related to buffing up your warriors.

Birds Path

For all the bird build enthusiasts. If you’re trying to make a build based on Birds, this is the path for you.

Loot and Money Path

This is your economy path. The talents here are all about getting you more Loot chance and helping you generate more money.

Light Path

This is a very specific path designed to do one thing: scale the damage of your Light Spears.

Monks Path

This path is for your advanced magic builds. The talents here are all about managing your Mana and reducing the cost of changing the weather.

Divers+ Path

This is the catch-all utility tree. In this path, you’ll find a variety of important skills, including talents related to your Advisors, your unit recruit speed, and your item cooldowns.

What’s NOT Covered

The original creator of the visualizer mentioned that some basic or very early-game skills weren’t included. These are things you’ll likely have to pick up anyway, such as:

  • Basic click damage
  • Some meteor-related skills not tied to a specific damage type
  • Crit damage
  • Boss respawn speed
