Why Are These Crows So Important?

If you’re on the grind for 100% completion in Little Nightmares 3, the “Birdbrained” achievement is a must-have. To get it, you need to find and shoot all 11 specific, collectible crows hidden throughout Chapter 1: Necropolis.

This task can be a little tricky. Some of the crows are well-hidden, and others will fly away in seconds if you’re not fast enough. Let’s break down where to find every single one.

Pro-Tips Before You Start the Hunt

Before you even begin, there are a couple of things you need to know to make this hunt way less of a headache.

You Must Play as Low This is a non-negotiable. The only way to shoot the crows is with a bow and arrow, and Low is the only character who has one. If you’re playing as Alone, you won’t be able to get this achievement.

Use the ‘Highlight Interactables’ Setting If you’re having trouble spotting the crows in the dark and dusty environments of Necropolis, there’s a setting that’s a total lifesaver. Go to Options and turn on “Highlight Interactables.” This will make the crows glow slightly, making them much easier to see from a distance.

All 11 Crow Locations in Chapter 1

Alright, let’s get into it. The crows are listed in the order you’ll naturally come across them as you play through the chapter.

Crow 1: The First Interior Room

Right after the sandstorm intro, you’ll climb a long ladder to enter the first building. In this very first room, before you go through the next doorway, look up to the top right of the broken door frame. The first crow is perched right there.

Crow 2: The Headless Statue

Proceed into the next area. You’ll enter a room with a big, headless statue in the background. The second crow is sitting right on top of the statue’s neck, where its head should be. It’s an easy shot from the middle of the room.

Crows 3, 4 & 5: The Key Room

This next room is a three-for-one deal. You’ll see a raven flying around holding a key that you need to progress. That raven is your third crow. After you shoot it, don’t leave yet! Look up at the gap in the wall in the upper-right corner of the room. Two more crows are sitting up there.

Crow 6: Before the Zipline

This one is a total troll and easy to miss. After you use your umbrella to ride an updraft, you’ll land on a rooftop with a zipline in front of you. Before you use the zipline, look to the far left. A crow is sitting on the edge of a distant building. It flies away super fast, so draw your bow as you enter the area and be ready to fire the second you get a clear shot.

Crows 7, 8, 9 & 10: The Statue Garden Ambush

This is another multi-crow area. After you drop down through a hole, you’ll land in a large outdoor area filled with statues. There are four crows here, and they’ll all fly off if you move too far forward.

Enter the area slowly and pick them off one by one:

• One is on the statue to the left.
• Two are sitting on the ledge in the center.
• One is perched high up in the top-right.

Crow 11: The Final Crow

The last crow is found after the bedroom cutscene. You’ll emerge into an exterior area where the giant Monster Baby’s hand is patrolling. As soon as you enter this area through the doorway, look to your left. You’ll see a large, white, ring-shaped object. The final crow is perched on top of this ring. Shoot it, and the “Birdbrained” achievement is yours.
