Tokyo Xtreme Racer – A Guide to All 72 Wanderers

Published October 5, 2025 · Updated October 5, 2025

This is your ultimate, in-depth guide to finding and defeating all 72 Wanderers in Tokyo Xtreme Racer (2025). We’re breaking down every requirement, location, and pro-tip you’ll need to get the True Ending.

Aight, so you’re deep in the world of Tokyo Xtreme Racer, you’ve beaten the main story bosses, and you’re ready for the ultimate endgame challenge: the Wanderers. These are 72 secret, optional bosses that roam the Shuto Expressway, each with their own unique and often bizarre requirements to even get them to race you.

No cap, this is a massive undertaking. You have to beat all 72 of them to unlock the game’s True Ending. But don’t trip. This guide is your definitive, no-BS checklist for every single Wanderer in the game.

Pro-Tips: How to Hunt Wanderers Like a Pro

Before you start the hunt, you need to know the strats. This will save you a ton of time.

  • The Reset Strat: If the Wanderer you want isn’t appearing on the map, just enter any course and immediately exit back to the garage. This skips one in-game day and will completely reroll the pool of available racers. You can spam this until your target finally shows up.
  • Check Your Journal: A lot of these Wanderers have requirements tied to your in-game stats. You can check these by going to the “JOURNAL” in your garage menu. This is where you’ll find your total distance driven, your lifetime CP earned, and your highest win streak.
  • License Plate Swapping: Some Wanderers are super picky and will only race you if your car has a specific regional license plate. You can change this at any time by going to your “Collection,” selecting your car, and going to the “LICENCE PLATE” option.
  • Don’t Trust the Game: Some of the in-game requirements are straight-up wrong. We’ll point out these misnomers in the list below so you don’t get stuck.

Your Wanderer Hunting Shopping List

You’ll need to own 12 specific cars to complete all the mirror match requirements. Get these in your garage ASAP.

The Grind is Real: How to Farm Money (CP)

You’re going to need a ton of money to buy and upgrade all the cars for this challenge. If you find yourself broke, here are the two best farming methods.

  • Method 1: High Payout Rematches: The simplest way. Build up a win streak of at least 21 wins (the bonus caps out here) by beating up on traffic cars. Then, find a high-level opponent like “Snake Eyes” or “Swift Emperor” and rematch them over and over. With a maxed-out win streak and some economy perks from your skill tree, you’ll be making bank.
  • Method 2: Stage 4 Boss Rush: A more engaging method. Find and race the boss “Every-Little-Bit Warrior.” This will trigger a series of 3 back-to-back races against a total of 7 bosses from Stage 4. This method gives a bit less money than the first one, but it gives you a massive amount of BP, which you can use to max out your skill tree while you farm for cash.

It’s a huge grind, but it’s the only way to the True Ending. Good luck out there on the Shuto Expressway.
