Vampire Crawlers – The Complete Evolutions & Unions Chart

Published April 28, 2026 · Updated April 28, 2026

If you’ve been grinding through Vampire Crawlers, you already know the struggle. You finally hit that crucial level up, the screen pops up with your choices, and… you completely forget which base weapon combines with which passive item.

To make things even more stressful, the game doesn’t let you open the pause menu to double-check your evolution chart while you’re on the level-up screen. You’re just stuck guessing.

That’s exactly why I’ve put together this quick-reference guide for all the weapon Evolutions and Unions (huge shoutout to Prince Of Stars from the Steam community for originally compiling this data). Having this page open on your phone or second monitor is an absolute lifesaver when things get chaotic.

⚠️ HEADS UP: SPOILERS AHEAD! ⚠️ If you prefer to discover all the weapon combinations entirely blind through trial and error, turn back now. If you want to optimize your builds and actually survive, keep scrolling.

Gameplay Basics: How Evolutions Work

Before we get into the cheat sheet, just a quick refresher on how the system works. To evolve a weapon in Vampire Crawlers, you typically need two things:

  1. A base weapon leveled up to its maximum rank.
  2. The specific matching passive item in your inventory (usually, level 1 is enough).

Once you meet both requirements, your next chest drop will usually grant you the evolved version of the weapon, granting a massive power spike.

Here is the complete breakdown of every weapon combination you need to know:

(Note for you: Insert your actual chart, bullet points, or the Steam guide image right here. You can use a format like the one below to list them out if you are typing them manually!)

  • [Base Weapon Name] + [Passive Item Name] = [Evolved Weapon Name]
    • Quick tip: (Add a short comment here about what the weapon does, e.g., “Great for crowd control in the late game.”)
  • [Base Weapon Name] + [Passive Item Name] = [Evolved Weapon Name]
  • [Base Weapon Name] + [Passive Item Name] = [Evolved Weapon Name]

Secret Combinations & Unions

(Note for you: If there are special “Unions” where two fully leveled weapons combine into one, list them here. Otherwise, you can delete this section.)

Unions work a little differently than standard evolutions. Instead of combining a weapon with a passive item, you are merging two max-level weapons together to create something incredibly overpowered.

  • [Max Weapon 1] + [Max Weapon 2] = [Ultimate Union Weapon]
